Whether that be your great grandmother's broach attached to your bouquet or the way Kelly sees you run your hand through your little boy's tousled curls that might not last after his first hair cut. Kelly sees the beauty in the simplest of details and those are the moments Kelly's clients cry over and beam with excitement upon receiving their images. These are moments, friends. Kelly LOVES connecting with her couples. The engagement session is such a great time to get to know each other prior to the wedding day. Treat it like a date night! You are a little more dressed up and you will be hungry (I promise:) after your shoot.
These sessions are laid back and full of fun! Many guys will say at the end how much fun it was and not at all what they expected. We interact, laugh and create amazing images and memories for you! Ps. Kelly loves helping her couples with styling. Send along your thoughts and think soft color tones as they photograph nicely.

They won't be this little forever so remember their rooms, nursery and how they still love to snuggle on your bed and read books. These sessions last 2 hours or so and we take breaks if need be.

Session Tips
There is something so sweet about photographing your family in your own home. The kids are excited to show me their rooms and favorites toys and to have these memories of this time in your life in your own environment is so special. Do not worry if your home is not perfect. No one’s home is! I carve out little nooks and focus on where there is great light and true connection, belly laughs and real moments. The focus is always on your love vs your home. That is the good stuff!
Kelly loves helping her clients with styling! This is the fun part for her! Think casual, yet stylish and barefeet is best. Stay true to your personal style and have fun with this!
Kelly’s best tip is to go with the flow. Nothing phases her so if the kids are crying or melting down...no problem. Taking breaks is key and keeping the kids engaged. Kelly is a mama so she anticipates it all :) As long as mom and dad stay calm and laugh through it all it is sure to be a success! Trust the process and know that Kelly ALWAYS gets great shots no matter what!

family sessions
Family sessions on location are so fun! These sessions last about an hour and are full of running, playing, snuggling and laughs! Stay true to your style while not matching, but coordinating. Pastels photograph beautifully and can be paired with grey, navy or white :)

what to wear
Outdoor sessions are a great time to play with the season. If it is summer...don’t be afraid to wear an elevated look with a flowy dress or jeans with a cute top and booties. You can get away with layers as that always photographs well in the fall. Kelly is super helpful with styling and will send a pinterest board for outfit inspiration upon booking. Have fun with this!

Choosing a location that your family loves is best! I have many ideas and we collaborate to choose the perfect location for your family! Locations to think about are : natural settings like a park or apple orchard, wooded areas like tall pines, more modern areas like downtown or the beach. Kelly also always loves sentimental locations like your favorite coffee shop or your summer cottage. Anything that is meaningful to you!

Kelly LOVES children! She knows how to bring them out their shell or showcase their spunk! The goal is allow room for their personalities to shine! Taking breaks is key and also interactive play. Kelly loves a challenge is not phased by anything! It’s going to be so fun!

Senior sessions
This milestone session is one you will remember forever. Kelly LOVES photographing seniors as they are so excited for this session! Kelly loves fashion and styling and helps each senior shine with the choices chosen for this fun session. Kelly takes a limited number of seniors each year so booking early is key.

Professional photographs completely elevate your brand. Kelly offers many suggestions and gives variety for your brand and event shoots so you are able to showcase the images online and in marketing pieces.

The session fee is $500 and includes a $200 print credit to be used after the session. Most of my clients purchase the complete digital collection of images as it is difficult to choose and you may print them at the lab of your choice.
